Job Overview
The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for building and leading the U.S. commercial sales organization from the ground up. This leader will drive revenue growth through strategic planning, key account development, sales team leadership, and execution of hospital-based and outpatient market penetration. The role is critical to establishing Compremium’s footprint across trauma centers, academic institutions, and health systems.

The Vice President of Sales reports to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Responsibilities & Essential Duties
Sales Strategy & Execution
• Develop and execute a comprehensive U.S. sales strategy aligned with Compremium’s commercialization roadmap.
• Set and manage ambitious revenue targets and KPIs.
• Lead direct sales and channel partner efforts to maximize territory coverage and performance.
Team Building & Leadership
• Recruit, onboard, and lead a high-performing sales team, including regional sales managers, clinical specialists, and independent reps as needed.
• Define sales roles, territories, compensation plans, and sales training programs.
Key Accounts & KOL Engagement
• Cultivate relationships with key academic centers, trauma hospitals, and early adopter physician champions.
• Drive hospital value analysis (VAC) approvals and procurement strategy execution.
• Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs and Clinical teams to align on messaging, pilot evaluations, and outcomes documentation.
Market Expansion & Pricing
• Develop pricing strategies and support reimbursement initiatives in collaboration with the CCO.
• Identify and engage distribution or co-promotion partners to scale reach.
Forecasting & Reporting
• Establish CRM processes and deliver accurate sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and market insights to the executive team.
Minimum Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
• 10+ years of sales leadership experience in medical devices, with proven success in launching new diagnostic or monitoring technologies.
• Deep experience selling into acute care hospitals, especially orthopedics, trauma, critical care, emergency medicine.
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale commercial teams from early-stage growth to commercial maturity.
• Familiarity with hospital procurement, VAC processes, and clinical evaluation protocols.
• Strong understanding of value-based selling and clinical economics.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to operate in a fast-paced, hands-on startup environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or clinical background preferred.
