Job Overview
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Venous Pressure Solutions will serve as the clinical, scientific, and strategic leader driving the validation, adoption, and scaling of the solution. This executive will oversee clinical positioning, medical affairs, evidence generation, KOL engagement, regulatory-medical alignment, and strategic payer-reimbursement positioning.
The CMO will work closely with leading clinicians worldwide to establish Quantis CVP as a new standard of care. The role is highly visible, externally facing, and will play a pivotal role in changing the clinical guidelines for venous pressure measurements.

Responsibilities & Essential Duties
1. Clinical Strategy & Leadership
• Define and lead the global clinical strategy for Quantis CVP across the various acute and chronic pathways.
• Translate core clinical unmet needs into actionable product and clinical evidence.
• Serve as the medical authority and spokesperson to clinicians, hospital systems, and regulatory bodies.
2. Clinical Evidence Generation
• Design and oversee clinical studies validating non-invasive CVP.
• Develop clinical performance claims aligned with FDA, CE-mark, and future pathways.
• Ensure evidence supports accuracy, utility, workflow impact, and health-economic value.
• Drive publications and conference presence.
3. Medical Affairs & KOL Engagement
• Build and lead the Medical Affairs function.
• Identify, recruit, and manage the exchanges with global KOLs, particularly by orchestrating Advisory Board meetings.
• Support physician education, onboarding, and clinical messaging.
4. Regulatory & Quality Alignment
• Shape clinical claims, labeling, and evidence requirements for FDA, CE and other regulatory submissions.
• Provide medical oversight for risk management and clinical safety.
5. Health Economics & Reimbursement Strategy
• Partner with HEOR experts to articulate the value of the solution for patients, clinicians, hospitals, and payers.
• Support development of reimbursement models, coding strategies, and payer engagement pathways.
6. Commercial & Market Development Support
• Partner with commercial teams to refine workflows, onboarding frameworks, and clinical adoption playbooks.
• Provide medical leadership during evaluations and customer interactions pertaining to clinical business development.
• Ensure alignment with product roadmap and market segmentation.
Minimum Requirements
• MD with board certification and clinical experience in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Cardiology, Anesthesiology, internal medicine, or related field.
• Expertise in hemodynamics, venous congestion, shock, and fluid resuscitation or other related areas pertaining to venous pressure measurement.
• Established KOL and academic network within relevant specialties.
• Ability to travel within Europe and Internationally to attend conferences and hospital clients.
• Excellent command of English, with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
• Peer-reviewed publications in hemodynamics, CVP, heart failure, or shock.
• Prior MedTech industry experience.
• Leadership experience in clinical research or medical affairs.
• Experience with diagnostics or monitoring technologies such as ultrasound, AI-enabled tools, or other non-invasive solutions.
• Proven track record in implementing new clinical solutions in hospital environments.
